The MEDC has launched the Parks & Resilient Communities (PARC) funding round.  The PARC program renovates local parks and public gathering spaces with the installation of new public infrastructure to help residents gather and utilize amenities for recreational purposes, while addressing climate change, managing floods, and improve public health. This initiative transforms existing public recreation spaces into active defenses against extreme weather while boosting neighborhood well-being and social connection.

There is $15,000,000 in funding available for awards.  Applicants can apply for CDBG funds ranging between $500,000-$1,000,000 per proposed project. The application deadline is February 12, 2027 at 5:00 p.m. EST.
